And on the eighth day there appeared a beautiful border of flowers. I feel very proud. It looks almost oriental. Yes, I can go to bed a happy lady now. Thank-you to the flower fairies. ;O)

And so I am back. Nadia has been given a book called 'What should I do with my life?' by Adrian. If only we could all find happy jobs. If you think about how much time you spend at work then sitting in a job you hate must be terrible. Money does not make your job rewarding. It's something many people must battle with.
Still haven't had any brainwaves for links to put in. Like I said before, today the world has slowed down...

So the whole page is pink at the moment. This is step two of the pink and flowers combo. Plan: middle to remain pink with border of very sophisticated orchids on a black background. My technical abilities, though improving daily, are not up to this challenge. I have enlisted Jon's help. But It was my idea.

What else? Oh yes, I am off today because I am ill and need to go to the doctors. However, I have since learned that everyone else is off too: my workplace is shut due to snow. Hurrahh! I like days where the world is slowed down and playing is allowed. It's like being a kid again. Hmmm, no links here. I shall ponder and return with some later....

My goodness! Two posts in one day. I have now learned how to do 'links' properly, thanks to Adrian. So I shall be making the most of my new found-knowledge to stick pointless links in right, left and centre. You have been warned. I shall also be getting a little link bar at the side of this but I need to do something to the template first, so I'm told. I think I'm doing rather well for a first-timer! Do you know what I'd like? I'd like to be able to insert emoticons into my blog. I feel lost without them. :0(

The world is a beautiful place today. Snow has covered the ugly estate in white sparkles and made it look almost pretty. It's 'proper' cold outside and warm clothing is order of the day. As this is supposed to be a blog I suppose I should write about websites. Well I took the BBC IQ challenge and came out with an IQ that was,frankly, shameful. However, I found a lovely site with a better IQ test that gave me a much more respectable score. So I am not as daft as I first appear. Despite liking pink. Flowers are happening very soon. I just have to pick the ones I want ...

Monday came and went without disaster. My car is calm and tidy now, thanks to Jon. The tapes, however, have not materialised. I think they have gone to the same place as my missing socks. Despite huge effort on my part, to keep socks in pairs, I have a bundle of about 15 single socks. Where the partners are, is anyones guess.

I've been told off for not having flowers up yet. All I am going to say on that front is 'patience is a virtue'. Where I am concerned you need to be patient. What I say I will do, and what I actually do, rarely turn out to be the same thing.

It's four minutes until Eastenders. Much as I enjoy writing in my pink blog, there are things afoot in the square which must be attended to.

So today is Sunday. That means that after a lovely weekend of seeing friends and having a nice time, I'm getting Monday-morning-dread. It's a pointless condition that leads you to waste half of the precious weekend worrying about the week ahead and all stuff you should have done but didn't get round to.

On a lighter note, Jon lent me his very posh digital camera so maybe, possibly there might be some photographs up here soon! They will be carefully vetted so that I look my best, ofcourse. After all, a pink blog must remain pretty at all times.

I have just had my car cleared out. I seem to have 9 tapes without boxes and 8 boxes without tapes!?! Me no understand. I think I ought to try harder.

Off to bed after rather difficult slasa session. I do believe I am actually getting better, although I have been told by several men that I'm trying to lead! I shall make myself more passive next week.

On the technical front: I'm going to put 'links' in here soon. This is like a little adventure. Jon's helping me. He likes computers. I like people.

Well I've chatted to somebody 'in the know' and it appears that I can have flowers. Hurrah! Pink and flowers. Can the world get any better?

I have battled with codes I do not understand in an effort to create a pink blog. Flowers would finish it off beautifully but, alas, I shall have to do without. However, I have atleast got my pink. And where would the world be without pink?
