Cor Blimey!! It's been so long since I blogged that the whole of blogspot has changed. And I also forgot my passwod. (or password, even!)Oh the shame is almost too much to bear. I have been very busy, mind, sorting out my muddled life and what-not. Also have been searching for Jon's socks. Seems the ever-insatiable sock monster has taken a shine to Jon's lime green socks. Oh the things you can blame on unexplained phenomenon.

I don't really know what to say. Count down to Robinson Ball. My weight is at an all time high for the last 12 months but I'm going to dance it away at salsa. However, I only have about two weeks to go so I'd better get moving. There's been a terrible clash. Clever me decided that the 11th June would be a good day to take 28 kiddies to the zoo. This is the most tiring, stressful and eventful day of the year. It is a day that takes great physical and emotional stamina and leaves you feeling a wreck. But instead of coming home and sleeping I shall be trying to stay up all night at the ball. Clever, clever, me.

And so we are almost at the end of the Twin Peaks saga. All that will be left is 'Fire Walk With Me'. Got to say that , as I remember it, that it's not a particularly feel-good film. No, scared the bejesus out of me, it did. Jon stands not a chance.

I'm back but just for a little while. Well, my car cost £800, not £650. They forgot to mention the V.A.T thing. But it works a treat and the engine is, so they say, as sweet as a nut now. Here's hoping.

My sisters are in Syria. As is my Dad. Yes. They managed to fly out on the same day as the attacks/happenings in Damascus. George Bush claimed that the Syrians 'started another fire so as they could get the credit for putting it out'. It must be lovely to see life in such black and white terms. Still, my sisters and Dad are ok. They are in Aleppo, not Damascus. It is a fantastic country and the people are lovely. But they have not had an easy ride. Sometimes, we don't know how lucky we are here.

On a lighter note, Jon is playing with his dad's freshly built computer. I think he's so attached to the little fella that he'll have glinty eyes when he hands it over. It's very cute, even if I do say so myself. I wish ours looked like that. Still... Eastenders is starting. Yeah! Nasty Janine is going to get what she deserves. Hurrrah!
