Hallllllllloooooooo.
Quite what I've been doing during the past two months isn't entirely clear. I spent some time wrestling with crappy Virgin Cars. Suffice to say that they got me all excited about my nearly new Fiesta that was going to be delivered any minute now, kept £738 for two months and made me waste hours of my life hanging on the telephone, as Blondie once said. At the end ofthe ordeal, and it was a painful, long, annoyingly stressful ordeal, I ended up with no car. I did, however, get a fulll refund and several telephone calls to try and disuade me from cancelling the order. Pah, to them, I say. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM VIRGIN CARS. Tell your friends to tell their friends. They are a disgrace. Anyway....
I shall be picking up my new car, 05 don't you know, this week. Horaaaay. a lovely 'Panther black' Fiesta. Ok, so the Virgin one was a Zetec, but this one is new and it's black. I will also be introduced to the wonders of power steering. No more puffing and panting as I try to get my car into a tiny space. Oh no. I shall be a brilliant parker from now on. I am very proud of my winding down windows. Less stuff to go wrong. The best thing will be having heating and a c.d. player. What should I christen the c.d player with? I was thinking maybe The Killers, or Scissor Sisters. Any ideas are welcome.

What else? I've found a lovely little book called ' French Women Don't Get Fat'. It's a really good read and the sort of book that only a french woman could write. It's half autobiography and half cook book. I really feel excited by what she writes and it's much more fun than 'You Are What You Eat.' It has lovely recipes like chocolate rice pudding. Yum.

Bed time now. I am going to read more and hopefully be inspired. I'm also sending bad vibes to Virgin. Richard Branson is not the man he once was.
